CirculART, is the project curated and produced by Cittadellarte, within the collaboration of Fashion B.E.S.T. and UNIDEE residency programs, that brings together companies, artists and fashion designers to create new forms of language capable of inspiring change by integrating the seemingly different dimensions of art and industry.
Cittadellarte presented, on the occasion of Arte al Centro 2021, the second edition of this project: CirculART 2.0 - Art intertwined with the supply chain.
Through this project, companies and artists presented new design paradigms based on the circular economy and ethics through works of art created for the project. Their artworks, developed also through the know-how acquired and materials provided by the project partners during on-site visits, inspired not only the textile industry, but all production sectors to respond to the current needs of mankind from a more sustainable perspective.
The artists of CirculART 2.0 project were: Silvia Giovanardi, Ryts Monet, Giulia Pellegrini and Marcello Pipitone.
The partner companies of the initiative are: Cotonificio Albini SPA, Eurojersey SPA, Flainox srl, Filatura Astro srl, Lanificio F.lli Cerruti, Lenzing Group, Milior sas, Officina+39, Ribbontex srl, Taroni SPA, Tessuti di Sondrio, Tintoria Emiliana and Vimar 1991.
