CIRCULART 1.0

CirculART is an art project born from an idea of Officina +39 and produced by Cittadellarte within the collaboration of Fashion B.E.S.T. and UNIDEE residency programs, presented for the very first time on the occasion of Arte al Centro 2019.

The CirculART project brings artistic research into dialogue with the different sectors that compose the textile supply chain, working on the basis of the circular economy with companies that have chosen to embrace the idea of sustainability and develop their business in an innovative and forward-thinking way.

From this perspective, the artists and fashion designers involved in the project stepped in between the warp and weft of the textile/fashion lifecycle thanks to site visits to the various partner companies involved, an element that contributed to enriching their research.

Through the works created with the materials and know-how provided by the project partners, the artists engaged with the textile industry supply chain, itself part of the valorisation process that Cittadellarte aims to promote in a context of growing sustainability.
