The Office of Architecture and Urban Planning - n.o.v.a. civitas operates according to the principles of bioarchitecture, designing exclusively with natural building materials sourced from a short, closed-loop supply chain.

In 2008, n.o.v.a. civitas Nuovi Organismi di Vita Abitativa s.r.l. was founded within the office, a construction and marketing company for natural or recycled products and materials aimed at promoting sustainability in architecture and construction through exhibitions, events, and activities directed at construction professionals and technicians, as well as citizens, to raise awareness about the critical and conscious consumption of a product that combines high quality and social responsibility. 

Today, n.o.v.a. civitas designs and constructs buildings that aim to preserve as many pre-existing elements as possible, incorporating natural materials, with the goal of keeping the building alive and healthy for human beings.

In 2018, n.o.v.a. civitas opened a co-working space for sustainable architecture within its premises, welcoming anyone working in disciplines related to this theme, including web designers, marketing consultants, fundraisers, legal professionals, programmers, automation experts, geologists, photographers, and graphic designers.
