Lia Rumma and Michelangelo Pistoletto, the exhibition "Rivedersi" in Naples

Palazzo Donn'Anna will host, from June 25 to July 18, the exhibition that will highlight a series of Mirror Paintings by the master - including one featuring the gallery owner - created from the 1980s to today.

Michelangelo Pistoletto

The exhibition project Rivedersi continues to put the spotlight on the dialogue and friendship of over fifty years between Lia Rumma and Michelangelo Pistoletto, which began in 1968 in Amalfi and consolidated with the exhibition Vedersi a Capri in 1987. In this vein, from 25 June to 18 July in the timeless setting of Palazzo Donn’Anna, Lia Rumma’s residence in Naples, the Quadri Specchianti Neapolitan, created by Pistoletto from the 1980s to today, including that of Lia Rumma, will come back to life.

"The characters fixed on mirrored surfaces - explain the organizers - cross time and are still reflected, questioning memory, identity and change: each work is a threshold between past and present, involving the viewer in an experience of presence and dialogue". The exhibition therefore presents itself as an intimate journey, a silent encounter between images and reflections, a suspended time where art preserves memory, bonds and identity.

The exhibition can be visited only by appointment by writing an email to napoli@liarumma.it
