Rebirth Forum Roma, second edition
From 3 to 7 May 2025, the Casa dell'Architettura di Roma hosts the new edition of the Rebirth Forum, organized in collaboration with Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte, Ordine degli Architetti di Roma and Festival dell’Architettura di Roma.
In the within of the 2025 edition of IPER - Festival delle Periferie, from 3 to 7 May, the Casa dell'Architettura di Roma (piazza Manfredo Fanti 47) hosts the second edition of the Rebirth Forum Roma, organized in collaboration with Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte, Ordine degli Architetti di Roma, Festival dell’Architettura di Roma.
The event includes ten thematic tables with one hundred invited representatives of as many organizations (universities, administrations, associations, professional firms, museums) to discuss the future of Rome in five days open to the public and enriched by meetings, lectures and workshops. An artistic and "demopractic" device (see The art of demopraxy, a method of activating collective intelligence developed by Cittadellarte in numerous cities around the world in different and specific collaborations each time), the Forum will conclude with the drafting of a manifesto and a list of shared objectives to be achieved with the contribution of all the participants (i cantieri - the construction sites).
The inauguration of the Rebirth Forum will be held on Saturday 3 May at 5pm, again at the Casa dell'Architettura in Rome, with the event entitled 1+1=3; 10x10=...?, referring respectively to the trinamic formula and to the number of participants and working tables of the Forum.
Following this, at 6pm, there will be a lecture on Prosperity and future generations by Andrew Percy, vice-president of the Social Prosperity Network at the Institute for Global Prosperity (IGP).

From Sunday 4 May to Tuesday 6 May, there will be the acrivity - divided into several phases - of the ten working groups:
Abitare: dal tetto sulla testa alla città bene comune (Living: from the roof over your head to the city as a common good)
Le acque di Roma: i fiumi e il mare (The waters of Rome: the rivers and the sea)
La città di genere, la città di tutt* (The city of gender, the city of everything)
Gli spazi verdi e la città multispecie (Green spaces and the multispecies city)
La città museo (The museum city)
Periferie: il fronte della città (Suburbs: the front of the city)
Gli spazi della partecipazione (Spaces for participation)
La città educante (The educating city)
Decolonializzare Roma (Decolonializing Rome)
Povertà, accoglienza, cura (Poverty, hospitality, care)
The presentation of the educational project Cosa ne pensano i ragazzi? (What do the kids think?), curated by Alice Buzzone and Francesco Saverio Teruzzi, is also scheduled for Sunday 4 May.
On Tuesday 6 May, again at La Casa dell'Architettura, the meeting Lo stato dell’arte (The state of the art) is scheduled for 5pm, with special guest Michelangelo Pistoletto, who will be in dialogue with Paolo Naldini (director of Cittadellarte) and Giorgio de Finis (artistic director of the Museo delle periferie and IPER Festival).
On Wednesday 7 May we will move from collective discussions to the plenary session: the work tables will return from 10am to 1pm, while the Forum will close in the afternoon, from 3pm to 6pm. This last phase will be dedicated to the final presentation of the progress of the results - curated by Cittadellarte - and to the signing of the Atto di impegno (Deed of Commitment).
