Since 1998, Cittadellarte has embraced the challenge posed by Michelangelo Pistoletto in his 1994 Manifesto Progetto Arte, developing project-workshops that bring artistic practice into play across various social fields: architecture, politics, education, fashion, nourishment, production, design, and communication. The research and activities carried out by Cittadellarte are shared with professionals, researchers, and society at large, particularly through Arte al Centro di una Trasformazione Sociale Responsabile, an annual series of exhibitions, meetings, and seminars, as well as the Visible (Socially Engaged Art Projects Platform) project.
