Learning Environments and Training

The Learning Environments and Training Office is a key component of Cittadellarte’s educational initiatives. Beyond the complementary homeschooling project, Open School of the Third Paradise, it engages over 5,000 students, teachers, and families annually in pursuing the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. This is achieved through educational activities targeting ages 3 to 18, including experiential and museum-based workshops, PCTO (Paths for Transversal Skills and Orientation), outdoor experiences, and an artistic space for children featuring resident artists. The office also offers training programs for teachers and educators.

The Learning Environments and Training Office develops research and coordinates activities focused on extending the school framework into every domain and activity space. This initiative began with the 2021 launch of the Open School of the Third Paradise at Cittadellarte and extends to the conception and development of territorial projects founded on the idea of an educating community. The school is designed as a prototype of educational complementarity that maintains constant dialogue with public schools through teacher training programs, student workshops, and territorial projects that blend private and public initiatives. A key programmatic line of the Office is Learning Arcipelago, a territorial design project launched in 2017 focusing on the themes of the educating community. This project creates working groups where various "learning environments" become widespread and accessible throughout the territory, benefiting both schools and private individuals, and promoting a sustainable mobility strategy for schools and participants.

Thus, the Learning Environments and Training Office operates within a dense network of partnerships aimed at creating an educational community pact. This pact involves families, third-sector organizations, and schools, co-designing activities related to sustainability, art, respect and knowledge of nature, social inclusion, engagement with local productive realities, and civic commitment.
